By simply adding mozzarella and cheddar, breadcrumbs, olives, and fresh herbs, you can turn leftover pasta into a dish that looks and tastes brand new. This is a great way to reduce food waste and still enjoy something comforting and crowd-pleasing.

Leftover Pasta Bake Recipe with Cheese – Easy & Delicious Way to Reuse Pasta
This easy Leftover Pasta Bake recipe is the perfect way to reuse last night’s pasta. With added cheese, olives, and breadcrumbs, it becomes a comforting and delicious dish that's quick to prepare and super satisfying.
Ingredients
- leftover spaghetti
- 60 g mozzarella
- 60 g cheddar
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 5 tsp parmesan cheese
- olive oil
- fresh basil
- fresh thyme
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- paprika to taste
Instructions
- In a pan melt butter until golden and foamy.
- Add breadcrumbs and cook until toasted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
- Mix mozzarella and cheddar together. Set aside.
- Using 5 baking moulds or ramekins, grease with olive oil.
- Add about 1/2 tbsp of the cheese mix at the bottom.
- Cover with the leftover pasta.
- Top it all up with the remaining cheese dividing equally between portions.
- Add a layer of breadcrumbs on top.
- Sprinkle parmesan and paprika.
- Finish with chopped olives and olive oil.
- Bake in hot oven 180C | 356F for about 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
