Easy Homemade Tuna Pastry with Puff Pastry

- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 small onion chopped
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 can tuna
- 1/2 cup sweet corn
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1/2 cup grated mozarela cheese
- 3 sheet puffy pastry
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
In a pan melt butter.
Add onions and garlic and cook until fragrant and onion is translucent.
Add flour and cook for a few minutes.
Add half of the milk, mix and then add the remaining half.
Add tuna without the oil then add corn and peas.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook until it thicker.
Set aside and let it cool down.
Roll out a sheet of puffy pastry and divide in half.
Place about 2 tbsp of the tuna filling over the pastry and fold it over.
With a fork crimp the edges of the pastry.
Brush with an egg yolk.
Bake in pre heated oven 180C | 356F for about 20 minutes or until golden.
