Authentic Homemade Focaccia Recipe – Easy, Fluffy & Delicious Italian Bread
This easy homemade focaccia recipe delivers a fluffy, flavorful bread with a golden crust and the perfect chewy center. Whether served as a side or enjoyed on its own, it’s a must-try for bread lovers.
Ingredients
- 4 cup flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 2 cup warm water
- olive oil
- flaky salt
- dry or fresh rosemary
Instructions
- In a bowl add flour, salt and yeast. Mix tto combine
- Add in the water and mix well.
- Add enough olive oil to coat the dough.
- Cover and let it rest for 12 to 18 hours in the fridge.
- Using a tray of about 30cm x 20xm coat with olive oil.
- Transfer the risen dough cover and let it rest for another 2-4 hours or until has risen enough to fill the tray.
- Once rested add more olive oil, rosemary and flaky salt.
- Using your finger push down on the entire dough all the way to the bottom of the tray.
- Bake in hot oven 200-220C 392-420F for about 25 minutes
- Let it cool down before slicing it.
