- 250 g flour
- 5 g instant yeast
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- spring onions
- grated mozzarella
In a bowl mix together flour, yeast, salt and sugar.
mix in melted butter and warm milk.
Add a beaten egg and mix.
Transfer to a floured surface and knead the dough until no longer sticks to you hands by adding flour if necessary, about 5 minutes.
Shape into a ball, transfer to a tray.
Cover ant let it rest for 1 hour.
Transfer back to a floured surface.
With a rolling pin open the dough to form a circle about a finger thick.
Score the dough with each score about a thumb apart both horizontally and across.
Brush with melted butter and chopped spring onions.
Then fill the scoring with mozzarella cheese.
Transfer back to a tray and bake in hot oven 220C | 428F for about 25 minutes.
