Today I’m sharing how to make simple Chinese fried rice—a recipe that tastes just like it came from your favorite takeout spot. The secret? Cold rice and a few stir-fry tricks! This dish is quick, easy, and a delicious way to use up leftovers.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cup cooked rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 spring onion
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 1 cup pork
  • black pepper
  • 2 tsp chilli paste

Instructions
 

  • Heat up oil in a pan on high.
  • Add onion and cook for a few minutes.
  • Add carrots and garlic and cook for a few minutes more.
  • Pull everything to the side of the pan.
  • Add eggs and fry them. Once fried scramble them.
  • Add cabbage and cook for a minute.
  • Add cooked rice and quickly mix everything to fry the rice.
  • Add cooked pork and spring onions.
  • Season with salt or soy sauce and black pepper.
