Crispy Air Fryer Pork Belly with Asian-Style Sauce

- 300 g pork belly
- vinegar
- salt
Sauce
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp chilli paste
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- water
- Fresh Basil optional
cook the pork belly in boiling water for 10-15 minutes.
once cooked let it cool down to touch.
using a fork pierce all the skin, more you pierce crispier will get.
mix vinegar and salt in a bowl.
rub some of the salt and vinegar on the pork belly skin.
place the pork belly skin down on the salt vinegar bowl. You want the skin and fat submerged only.
Leave it for about 10-15 minutes.
Turn on your air fryer at 200C | 392F.
Using skewers line the 3 pieces of port belly together and place in the Air fryer
Cook for 45 minutes or until crisp.
Preparing the Sauce
Mix together fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and a little water and set aside
Add oil, garlic and chilli paste to a pan and cook until fragrant.
Add the pork belly and prepared sauce.
Mix well to coat the pork belly with the sauce and cook for a minute.
