Today I’m sharing how to make simple Chinese fried rice—a recipe that tastes just like it came from your favorite takeout spot. The secret? Cold rice and a few stir-fry tricks! This dish is quick, easy, and a delicious way to use up leftovers.
Ingredients
- 5 tbsp oil
- 1/2 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 carrot
- 2 cup cooked rice
- 2 eggs
- 2 spring onion
- 1 cup cabbage
- 1 cup pork
- black pepper
- 2 tsp chilli paste
Instructions
- Heat up oil in a pan on high.
- Add onion and cook for a few minutes.
- Add carrots and garlic and cook for a few minutes more.
- Pull everything to the side of the pan.
- Add eggs and fry them. Once fried scramble them.
- Add cabbage and cook for a minute.
- Add cooked rice and quickly mix everything to fry the rice.
- Add cooked pork and spring onions.
- Season with salt or soy sauce and black pepper.
