This easy Shakshuka with vegetarian meatballs is the perfect hearty meal! Rich tomato sauce, flavorful spices, and soft eggs combine with homemade veggie meatballs for an unforgettable dish.

- 1 pan
- 1 oven proof dish
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red onion finely chopped
- 2 can tomatoes
- 1 tbsp sugar
- eggs
- parsley
Instructions
- Heat up the olive oil in a pan.
- Add the chopped onions and cook until soft.
- Add in the tomatoes and sugar and cook for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to an oven proof dish.
- Add prepared meatballs and eggs.
- Bake in hot oven until the egg whites turn white.
