Crispy Air Fryer Pork Belly with Asian-Style Sauce
This crispy Air Fryer pork belly recipe is quick and easy, with a golden, crackling skin and juicy meat. Paired with a sweet and savory Asian-style sauce.

- Air fryer
- pan
- Mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 300 g pork belly
- vinegar
- salt
Sauce
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp chilli paste
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- water
- Fresh Basil optional
Instructions
- cook the pork belly in boiling water for 10-15 minutes.
- once cooked let it cool down to touch.
- using a fork pierce all the skin, more you pierce crispier will get.
- mix vinegar and salt in a bowl.
- rub some of the salt and vinegar on the pork belly skin.
- place the pork belly skin down on the salt vinegar bowl. You want the skin and fat submerged only.
- Leave it for about 10-15 minutes.
- Turn on your air fryer at 200C | 392F.
- Using skewers line the 3 pieces of port belly together and place in the Air fryer
- Cook for 45 minutes or until crisp.
Preparing the Sauce
- Mix together fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and a little water and set aside
- Add oil, garlic and chilli paste to a pan and cook until fragrant.
- Add the pork belly and prepared sauce.
- Mix well to coat the pork belly with the sauce and cook for a minute.
