Homemade Mandarin Juice Bread with Chocolate Filling – Soft, Sweet & Easy Recipe
This soft, sweet homemade bread is made with mandarin juice and filled with rich chocolate. Perfectly citrusy, fluffy, and ideal for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
Ingredients
- 500 g mandarim
- 2 eggs
- 7 g instant bread yeast
- 550 g flour
- pinch of salt
- 60 g sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp Nutella
- 1 egg for burshing
Instructions
- Peel the mandarin and remove any seeds.
- Add into a blender with 2 eggs sugar and instant yeast. Mix for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl mix flour with salt.
- Through a sieve transfer the blended mandarin juice into the flour mix.
- Mix until it forms a dough then add the softened butter.
- Knead for about 5 minutes.
- Cover with plastic film and let it rise for about an hour.
- Once dough has risen transfer to a bench an roll it out into a long log.
- Divide into 9 parts and roll each part into a ball.
- Transfer to floured round baking with a hole in the middle if you have one.
- Cover and let it rise for another hour.
- Transfer the Nutella to a piping bag (or a ziplock bag with the tip snipped off), then pipe a dollop of Nutella directly onto the center of the rolled dough.
- Brush with egg.
- Bake in hot over 180C | 356F for about 40 minutes.
