Equipment

  • 1 Silicone cake tray

Ingredients
  

Cake Batter

  • 85 g soft unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk room temperature
  • 18 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Frosting

  • 170 g butter room temperature
  • 175 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp sprinkles

Instructions
 

Cake Batter

  • In a bowl combine sugar, butter and vanilla.
  • Add milk and yogurt and mix.
  • Sieve in the flour and and baking powder. Mix well.
  • Transfer the batter to cake mold and smooth it out.
  • Bake in microwave for 5-8 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes check to with a skewer to see if its baked, if not add the extra 3 minutes.
  • Let it cool down completely once baked.

Frosting

  • In a bowl add butter and vanilla.
  • Using a handheld mixer beat until butter if fluffy.
  • Gradually add the sugar while mixing it.
  • If you feel that the frosting is to hard add a couple tbsp of fresh cream or milk.

Assembly

  • Remove cake from the tray.
  • Spread frosting all over it.
  • Add some sprinkles for decorating.
